Welcome to the web page for Our Lady of Peace Parish, Ashtabula, Ohio!
My name is Fr. Raymond Thomas and am the Pastor for Our Lady of Peace Parish. As you will see in the parish link, Fr. Ernesto Rodriguez is Parochial Vicar and Deacon Richard Johnson and Michael Gardner are the Permanent Deacons for the parish.
Our Lady of Peace Parish was established October 11, 2011 having merged the three parishes in Ashtabula: St. Joseph, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Mother of Sorrows. Parish administrative offices are currently located near St. Joseph church and the Pastoral offices in the Rectory at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. The residence for Fr. Rodrigues and me is in the Rectory at Mt. Carmel. Soon all the offices will be located in the former Mt. Carmel school building.
Part of our mix as a parish is having a Hispanic community, predominately from Mexico. The Spanish Mass is offered at 12:30 on Sundays at Saint Joseph church. St. John School is also a part of the parish with its own school president, board and school principal. If you wish to enroll your children in the school or to have more information on the school please click on the St. John School link on the web page.
